Race Control Standards
NAML Rules
These standards keep NAML events fair, competitive, and enjoyable. Event nights may include additional rules posted by Race Control.
The goal: clean competition.
Race hard, race smart. We’re here for realistic racing, organized demolition, and a league atmosphere. If you’re unsure on track etiquette, ask in Discord before the event.

General Conduct
- Respect officials and follow Race Control instructions during events.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or disruptive behavior.
- No cheating, exploits, or intentional interference with server operations.
- Keep communications clear during briefings, cautions, and official calls.

Racing Standards
- Hold your line; avoid reactive blocking or late moves.
- Intentional wrecking is prohibited outside of demolition formats.
- Brake-checking is prohibited.
- Rejoin safely: yield to oncoming traffic and re-enter when clear.
- If you cause an avoidable incident, be prepared to yield position when instructed.

- Intersection awareness is required: approach crossovers under control.
- Do not dive-bomb intersections; unsafe sends may be penalized.
- Avoid stopping at the crossover unless disabled or instructed by officials.
- Blocking at the intersection or forcing unavoidable contact may result in penalties.
- Officials may issue cautions/restarts depending on event format.

Demolition Derbys Standards
- Contact is expected, but follow the event format and official calls.
- No exploiting resets/repairs unless the event specifically allows it.
- Stay within the arena boundaries and follow marshal directions.
- No intentional targeting/harassment of a single driver if officials call it.
- Unsafe behavior in pit/return lanes (if used) may be penalized.

Penalties & Enforcement
- Officials may issue warnings, time/position penalties, or disqualification.
- Repeated incidents may result in suspension from events or the league.
- Severe conduct violations may result in immediate removal.
- Race Control decisions are final for the event; appeals may be handled after.
